heasley and d came by for a lamp. coathangers. the basketball diaries. they're finally setting up housekeeping together in santa barbara, in a crackerbox apartment with outrageous rent. i donated most of the food in my fridge. we traded george foreman's, my giant for her baby. they're like giddy, bickering newlyweds. i wish patrick would call or come by. i miss his kisses, the way his corduroy jacket smells when he's been up early, out in the cold, and he hugs me.
