7 days until my first vacation in 3 years, when i sat on the edge of the grand canyon and tried to contemplate all that enormity. my existence in the big scheme of things. the mind of god, if there is one. it was all too overwhelming, so i ended up watching japanese tourists take pictures with complicated, cutting-edge cameras. i used a disposable from walmart, but i'm certain the results were the same. tangible souvenirs of an intangible moment.
