father of inconsolable month old baby hit cow in the fog, otherwise known as pogonip. after destroying windshield and hood and leaving remnants of blood, hide and poop on car, cow survived to stagger off into the fog. the car did not. good news; cow is covered by insurance, should it die. bad news; car is not.
