a week without contact from patrick, while he cruised mexico with g. i miss my codger, but lately i have learned to fill the gap he leaves in my life with creature comforts; cheap wine, expensive ice cream, bad movies, and thrift store shopping with berries. i know what you're thinking- i'll be hungover, fat, careworn and shallow when he returns.
