since when did bizarre, impersonal computerized mind-fuck tests become a part of the job interview? i just took one for payless shoe source that asked when i first became responsible for household chores as a child. do they realize how goddamn old i am? i can't remember last week, much less circa 1963. then there's the walmart number; 67 questions regarding marijuana use and theft, all them cleverly designed to contradict yourself. c'mon, let's be honest; just how hard is it to sell cheap shoes or offer people a shopping cart wearing a stupid blue vest? and should i somehow "fail" these tests, does that deem me unworthy or unsuitable to sell cheap shoes or wear a stupid blue vest?
