i read somewhere that life often seems short and swift because routine makes each day indistinguishable from the next. well, duh. the same mental giant that figured this out suggested jotting down one interesting thing about each day to separate it from the last. i guess this isn't a bad idea, because without the drama of a married lover and hotel hell and all those liquor-ridden nights, bmoviemaven is a dull dull girl.
so okay; it's snowing yet again, the flakes are piling up on my horse's painted rump, but yesterday the sun came out. at least i was TOLD the sun came out by several jubilant customers, longtime nevada residents who swear by their copenhagen and beef jerky that this long, cold unbearably gray winter is unusual. yeah, well, bite me. i know all about the sun. i saw a picture of it once, in a science book.
