i rode in czar mike's truck the other night, while he checked water measurements on canals. we sat on the couch in his tidy house, drinking beer and kissing. he often reminds me of a stubborn toddler whose feelings have been hurt. he defensively says 'i don't care' alot, especially when referring to women, past or present. i think i'm supposed to do all the pursuing, because his job is so involved, but if i lose interest or don't have the time, i'm certain he 'won't care'. remind me, will ya, to have him pull my pigtails the next time we're on the playground.
