patrick called me early this morning from a mini-mart in new mexico. he delivered g to her mother, and when he returns tomorrow, we'll have a week to play house. the anticipation always gives me butterflies. i prepare like a giddy newleywed; stocking up on bubble bath and candles, dusting furniture and scouring the bathroom, planning meals that will never get eaten because we'll never leave the bedroom. i am such a fool for this man.
