patrick and g are on the star princess for a week, cruising the mexican riviera. if i am jealous, it's only because the star is a brand new ship and as a former travel agent and cruise bunny, i love cruising. forget the fabulous food and cheesy lounge shows- give me one day at sea and i've forgotten the rest of the world exists. a deck chair, an overpriced umbrella drink, a good book and an endless expanse of ocean; it's heavenly limbo. patrick, however, will be diving for a lifeboat by tomorrow. his idea of haute cuisine is chicken fried steak and white gravy. and captivity, no matter how luxurious, makes him pissy. he's a free spirit who always follows the easy path, providing that path has an escape route.
