patrick is overworked and cranky, like some old park bench geezer. the man with the patience of a toddler on ritalin now has no patience at all. this morning on the phone, after i made an innocent remark about g, he pontificated about his twisted moral compass and the articles of adultery until i hung up on him. then, this afternoon, he left me a cheery voice message;
