patrick is supervising three tracks of homes in different stages of completion, readying his own house to sell, and readying another to move into, all at once. when he's able to call, he sounds so weary it scares me. if he were with me, i'd pamper the hell out of him, and it wouldn't involve working on a fucking jigsaw puzzle and talking about the grandkids.
